Writer’s Prayer
Heavenly Father, fill my heart with Your Holy Spirit as I write today. Let Your spirit guide me so the words flowing through my heart, off my fingers, and onto the page be words inspired by You, to glorify You.
Expand my heart and my mind to be open to Your leading and Your prompting. Control my will Lord, so I won’t allow distractions to take me from Your will.
Lord, enrich my faith with each word You give me, calm my spirit to accept that these are Your words and will be placed where You want. Some may be for publication, others to minister to family and friends, and others only for obedient service to You. Let my heart be content with Your plans and Your timing for the work You’ve called me to do. Lord, I trust You and ask this in the name of Your precious son, Jesus. Amen.
