Bio

Born in Houma, Louisiana and raised on the bayou, Marian approaches her writing with southern flair. She attributes growing up in such an isolated environment for her passion of the written word.

Her completed Women's Fiction work, Legacy of Grace,
garnered First Place in the Women's Fiction Category and an
Overall Win in ACFW's 2006 Genesis contest.

Marian continues to hone her writing skills through
membership in American Christian Fiction Writers,
Words for the Journey Writer's Guild, The Writer's View 2 and her excellent critique groups. She also attends the ACFW's annual writer's conference.

She works full time as a Regulatory Compliance Technician in the energy industry and writes from the home
she shares with her husband and daughter
in Colorado.

When not reading or writing, she enjoys photography, pottery, gardening, painting, and motorcycling.

Marian graduated Cum Laude from the University of South Alabama. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy and an Accounting certificate. Her work as a claims development clerk for the Social Security Administration, an administration assistant for ten years with a major oil company, and a Rehabilitation and Home Health
Physical Therapist has contributed to her
experience as a writer.
